Enrico "Henry" Mancini was an Academy Award and Grammy Award winning composer, arranger, and conductor, known for his prominent role in the film music world. Mancini had a long time partnership with several directors, including Blake Edwards, for whom he famously composed the scores to Victor VictoriaThe Pink Panther, and Breakfast at Tiffany's. Mancini also wrote many songs in the jazz and easy listening genre, sung by famed singers such as Paul Anka, Anita Bryant, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, and Liberace. Such songs include "Days of Wine and Roses" and the iconic "Moon River."
